Lavender was born on July 18, 1980. When she turned two, she received her first stuffed unicorn that she named Robin Sparkle. She took it with her everywhere, until she was seven. She slept with it every single night until she went to Hogwarts. In her fourth year of Hogwarts she went on her first date with Seamus Finnigan. They dated for two months, but it didn’t work out. In her sixth year, she dated Ron Weasley for five months. Also in her sixth year, Vargas Doyle was placed in her parents care. Lavender had no siblings, so she clung to Vargas, and they became friends. He was the only person Lavender felt she could truly trust, so he knows her better than anyone else. Even Parvarti. They kept in contact after Hogwarts. She stands by him in his time of need, like a true Gryffindor. She lets him hide in the extra room in her flat above her shop whenever he needs to.

Lavender graduated Hogwarts in 2000 along with the rest of her year. After graduating, she decided to go to Muggle Beauty School, because working for the “New Reformed Ministry” held no appeal for her. She graduated in 2002, and began working in one of London’s most prestigious Beauty Salon’s. In 2004, she started a beauty shop of her own called The Handmaiden’s Hair-Salon in Diagon Alley. It was a complete success and had tons of business. Lavender prided herself on the fact that she would import muggle products such as: Shampoos, conditioners and acne washes. Her costumers knew perfectly well that they were using muggle products, but they didn’t care. Lavender was so successful she took a vacation to Ireland in 2005. There she met John Brown, (no relation), and she fell in love. Or so she thought. They eloped and Lavender soon became pregnant. She had a girl, Delilah Louise Brown, on May 15, 2006. Motherhood proved to be too much for Lavender and she left John and Delilah to go back to her shop. She regrets this decision deeply, but is too afraid to go back after so long.

She returned to London to find that a decree had been issued saying that the Ministry controls everything you sell/buy. Lavender’s business suffered, and she joined Harry & Co. in the fight against the new ministry when the Resistance was formed. For the past five years she has been getting information from her customers that work for the Ministry. Some of them know which side she’s on, and some of them don’t. It’s a rather dangerous situation.
